About us
The First Nations Union is a collective of Indigenous Autonomists from across the Western Hemisphere. Our Union was formed by a group of Indigenous activists, including Jocelyn Wabano-Iahtail and Melatha, who sought to fulfill the Red Nation Prophecy of TÈŸašúÅ‹ke Witkó.

The Red Nation Prophecy states, "Upon suffering beyond suffering, the Red Nation shall rise again, and it shall be a blessing for a sick world. A world filled with broken promises, selfishness, and separations. A world longing for light again. I see a time of Seven Generations when all the colors of mankind will gather under the Sacred Tree of Life and the whole earth will become One Circle again."

At the First Nations Union, we believe that this prophecy speaks to a vision of Indigenous autonomy and self-determination that is sorely needed in a world marked by colonialism, oppression, and environmental devastation. Through our ethnocultural chapters, we seek to grow the ideology of Indigenous Autonomism, steward our traditional homelands, and provide solidarity with other communities who share our vision for a just and equitable world.

We invite you to join us in our journey toward fulfilling the Red Nation Prophecy. Whether you are an Indigenous person or an accomplice, there is a place for you in our community. Together, we can work towards building a world where all people can live with dignity and respect, and where the Sacred Tree of Life can flourish once again.
